American fare, gorgeous views at Gloryridge Tavern & Grill

Whether you are a local who wants a delicious meal or a tourist who worked up a huge appetite after a day taking in the Gettysburg National Battlefield, The Lodges at Gettysburg has the perfect dining spot to provide a great meal.

Their onsite restaurant, Gloryridge Tavern & Grill, welcomes onsite guests as well as visitors for dinner Thursday through Sunday, with Wednesday reserved for take-out only.

Located just a few minutes from the site of the pivotal Civil War battle, the restaurant offers a recently redesigned American fare-focused menu by an onsite executive chef.

Dig into shareable appetizers such as cheeseburger sliders, the famous large wings and basket of fries or onion rings. Complete your meal with a salad, burger or other entree options, such as seared scallops, fettuccini alfredo and 12 oz. Delmonico steak. The restaurant sources many of its ingredients locally and grows its own vegetables in a garden on the 63-acre property.

A variety of options await guests, courtesy of the full-service bar filled with a plentiful selection of beer, liquor, wine and cocktails. Many are sourced locally from area breweries, wineries and distilleries.

A popular monthly Sunday brunch meal is back this year with offerings including crêpes, omelets, crab cakes and their take on stuffed rustic French toast. Try their bubbly orange or cranberry mimosas as well as a Bloody Mary flight featuring options such as traditional, bacon and seafood.

Guests can sit inside the tavern to enjoy the rustic decor including a handcrafted walnut bar and reclaimed wooden floors. On sunny days, choose to have your meal outside on the covered patio that seats about 25 to 30.

If you’d rather eat at home or inside your room, The Lodges offers take-out and delivery options for guests and locals. A catering menu is also available for area businesses and groups looking for unforgettable food options for large, medium and small events.
