This 1856 house in Sharpsburg, MD, is convenient, quiet, and private. It is one block from Main Street and one mile from the Antietam National Battlefield visitors’ center. The 1/2 acre property on the last street backs to a pasture. We host only one party at a time, so the house and yard are exclusive to our guests.
The 1200 square-foot structure has three levels and can accommodate six persons. Dogs are also welcome. Our guests over the past 15 years have commented that we have overlooked nothing to guarantee a comfortable stay in this historic home. We supply all linens and paper products. A washer and dryer are especially welcomed by bikers from the C & O Canal towpath.
